May I now present to you my lovely friends, Justin & Megan!

Meet Chris & Jil­lian. They are awesome. I went to school with them down in Arkansas a few years ago, and some how we all ended up in the out­skirts of Chicago. What a small world we live in…

The day before Valen­tines Day, my good friend Nathan tells me he’s going to be ask­ing his beau­ti­ful girl­friend Jenny, to marry him. He asked If I would be will­ing to hide out on Navy Pier, the loca­tion where it’s all hap­pen­ing the next day. Of course, I’m totally into it.

Nathan had a limo pick them up at her house, and take them to The Sig­na­ture Room, which is prob­a­bly the most styl­ish restau­rant in Chicago as it’s on the 95th floor of the John Han­cock Cen­ter. Gor­geous. After a great din­ner and dessert the limo takes them to Navy Pier where I’ve been staked out arrang­ing choco­late kisses in pretty shapes and try­ing des­per­ately to light dozens of can­dles on the windy pier. I hid behind a giant flow­er­pot and filmed the action as it unrolled…

Meet Anna and Jason. I’ve known both of them for a very long time. One year in ele­men­tary school, Jason & I were on the same bas­ket­ball team. And Anna was lit­er­ally the girl next door. I spent half of my child­hood at her house eat­ing Kraft mac­a­roni & cheese, and play­ing with Legos along­side her brother. It’s a lot of fun to see how much everyone’s changed, and grown up.

Even though we pick a frigid, windy day, we had great time, and got lucky with a won­der­ful sunset.

What is more per­fect than jump­ing on a tram­po­line with the one you love, at sunset?

A cou­ple weeks ago I took a lit­tle trip over to Des Moines, Iowa and pho­tographed Shan­non & her fiancée Kenny. They were so much fun to hang out with for the evening, and I can’t wait to pho­to­graph their wed­ding next summer!
